About Zeus
Zeus is a joyful, goofy little Border Collie puppy with a huge personality and a heart to match. Though deaf, he lives life at full volume—chasing after adventure, eager to explore and learn. At just 10 weeks old, Zeus is playful, affectionate, and incredibly curious, always excited to stick close to his people or romp with another dog. He thrives when he's got a canine buddy and shows genuine interest, but not fixation, around cats. Whether he's sprinting around the yard, sniffing along a walking path, or cuddling up after playtime, Zeus makes his presence known with loyalty and affection. This puppy has the makings of a smart, eager learner. He's picking up house training quickly, already knows “sit,” is great in the car, and is getting the hang of leash walking. Like most puppies, Zeus is still figuring out the crate and learning that time alone is okay. At his core, he’s very much a Velcro dog—he wants to be included in the action and close to his people. He would do best in a home that can match his energy and commitment, and one willing to continue his positive reinforcement training. Zeus is in Troy, VA, and priority will go to adopters willing to complete a Canine 101 class in person. Out-of-area adopters may be considered if they commit to a private lesson and approved training program. Zeus gets along with other dogs, cats, and children, and would bring laughter and warmth to any household. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
