About Buddy
Buddy is a one-year-old Yorkshire Terrier with a classic black and brown coat and bright, curious eyes. He came to the shelter in May with his two sisters, Bubbles and Buttercup, after their owner moved without them. For six months, a kind neighbor gave the three some stability, but now Buddy is waiting at Cobb Animal Services for the real sense of home he’s never really had. Despite the turmoil, Buddy’s spirit has held up. He’s sweet, playful, a little shy, and right now, still settling into his new surroundings. He already knows how to sit and is eager to bond with someone patient and kind—someone who will give him steady care so his confidence can grow. If you’re able to take in all three, that would be a dream, but Buddy is ready to pour his heart into whoever chooses him, whether he goes alone or not. He’s small, gentle, and at the perfect age to develop a deep attachment to a loving family. What he needs now is a calm, understanding home, the security of familiar faces, and the kind of peace that lets him finally relax. You’ll find Buddy in Kennel #323, hoping for a future where he doesn’t have to wonder what happens next. Click apply to start the adoption process.
