About Mona
Mona is a beautiful 2-year-old Mountain Cur mix who came to the rescue through no fault of her own. Her previous owner experienced hardship and made the difficult decision to give Mona and her dog companions a shot at better lives. Mona is now getting the chance to discover indoor living for the first time and needs a bit of extra patience while she settles in. She’s bright, affectionate, and has a high energy level, thriving when both her mind and body are put to work. Mona gets along well with other dogs and prefers a routine that includes plenty of walks and new things to explore. Volunteers love her balance of independence and sweetness; she’ll seek out attention and affection but is also happy to do her own thing. Mona behaves well on the leash, is eager to sniff and investigate, and listens when redirected. She’s not yet house trained, so an adopter willing to help her learn will help her reach her full potential. She's looking for someone to show her what home really means. Your time could be the start of Mona’s best years. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
