Meet St. Luke! This handsome 2-3 year old pittie mix came to us from a local shelter with a terribly sad story. This precious house hippo was shot in the leg and left as a stray, leaving him in desperate need of help. He was rushed to a vet and found to have a leg fracture, but luckily no other injuries. Despite his ordeal, Luke remains so loving and happy. His leg is fully healed now! He is a friendly, outgoing boy who just loves everyone he meets. He gets along with other dogs, walks well on a leash, and is working hard on his crate and household manners. Luke does not do well with cats.
