About Kahlua
Kahlua is a female Belgian Malinois about a year old and weighing in at 44 pounds. She landed in the shelter on 5/17/26 after being found in unincorporated Hayward (Ashland) and wasn’t reclaimed, so now she’s starting over. She’s up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and will be spayed before joining her new family. Kahlua is all Malinois: sharp, energetic, thrives on activity. Whoever brings her home needs to be ready for daily exercise and lots of engagement. This is not a nap-on-the-couch-all-day kind of dog—her best days come with a sense of purpose and movement. She isn’t yet house trained, so expect some basics in the early months, but she’s young and has the drive to learn. Her feet hit the ground running, but with the right daily structure and patient training, she’ll blossom fast. Her adoption fee is $35 plus licensing and spay, but if you adopt her on a Friday, the fee is covered. Kahlua is in Dublin, CA, waiting for someone who understands what it means to live with a driven, working dog. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
