About Chestnut
Chestnut is a 2.5-year-old Belgian Malinois mix with a zest for life you can feel from across the room. After a rough beginning on the streets of Cabo San Lucas and recovering from surgery, he hasn’t lost his joy or his trust in people. These days, Chestnut is all about the simple pleasures—cuddling on the couch, pawing for your attention, and giving you his best “you’re my hero” look. He’s goofy, loves fruit, and brings a contagious sense of playfulness wherever he goes. In his foster home, Chestnut has really found his groove. He enjoys his walks (zoomies included), is content hanging out solo when needed, and has gotten quite good at both crate and house training. Leash manners are coming along well, and he’s eager to learn more. Chestnut gets along well with dogs and is recommended for homes with adults or older kids (13+) who can appreciate his energy and affection. He’d thrive with a family ready to welcome an enthusiastic cuddle buddy into their everyday life. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
