At just one year old, she has already faced challenges that would leave most a little battered, but not Destiny! Spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, she’s now ready to shine like the star she is! ✨ Originally rescued from the Stockton Animal Shelter, she was discovered all alone in a field, looking like a small, neglected hairless bear. 🐻 No one even realized she was a dog! When they found her, she had a broken mouth, protruding teeth, mange, and ringworm—the works! 😢 But her journey didn’t end there. Her amazing foster mom stepped in, providing the love and care that Destiny so desperately needed. Furthermore, Destiny has bravely undergone two surgeries to repair a palatal defect caused by an unknown trauma, perhaps from fireworks or something electrical. 🎆💥 Now, Destiny has a small hole in her palate but can enjoy kibble, ground beef, and chicken – yum! 🐶 This energetic little pup, with her long limbs, is a bundle of joy at around 35 pounds and shows no signs of growing any bigger. While her exact breed remains a mystery (perhaps a Formosan mountain dog or terrier mix?), what is clear is that she absolutely adores frolicking with other dogs and is a total sweetheart with people. ❤️ Though she's still adjusting to leash training, she has a big personality that shines through as she jumps up to greet her human friends with her tongue sticking out—this girl loves her kisses! 💋 After everything she's been through, she deserves a beautiful home where she can truly be herself.
