Ella is a sweet senior lady with a big personality and an even bigger love for attention. This talkative couch potato enjoys spending her days lounging nearby, curling up in laps, and keeping her people company with her charming conversations. Don't let her age fool you-Ella still has a playful side! She loves batting at strings and wand toys and is always interested when it's time for a game with kids. She's also a true foodie and will happily show up whenever snacks or mealtime are involved. Ella gets along well with children of all ages and previously lived peacefully with another cat. While she tolerated sharing her home with a canine companion, dogs aren't really her favorite. She prefers a home where she can be the star of the show and receive plenty of affection on her own terms. Like many cats, Ella can be a little shy when meeting new visitors, but once she feels comfortable, she enjoys being the center of attention. She is selective about being held and about who pets her, so she'll let you know when she's ready for affection. One important rule: belly rubs are definitely not on Ella's list of favorite things! If you're looking for a loving lap cat who enjoys conversation, cozy naps, playtime, and being your devoted companion, Ella may be the perfect addition to your family. This cat has specific litterbox needs. When you bring this cat home they will need to be set up in a room by themselves. This cat will go home with a behavior plan that you will need to follow in order for them to use the litterbox reliably. Ready to Adopt? You have two options: #1- VISIT IN PERSON Come during our open adoption hours: Tuesday - Saturday,12:30 - 3:00pm. You'll be able to meet available cats in the shelter.
