If you're looking for a kitten with a big personality, endless energy, and plenty of love to give, Willie might be your perfect match! From day one, Willie has been the brave adventurer of the bunch, always the first to investigate something new and the first to turn every day into an exciting adventure. This playful little guy loves chasing wand toys, batting around toy mice and balls, and zooming after his brother for a friendly wrestling match. He's also an impressive climber who believes that if there's something to climb, he should probably be on top of it! Willie has never met a stranger. He's always the first to greet visitors at the door, rubbing against legs and chatting away with happy little meows while demanding the attention he knows he deserves. He loves chin and neck scratches, occasionally enjoys a belly rub, and rewards his favorite people with a loud, rumbling purr. He even likes being carried over your shoulder or cradled like a baby when he's in the mood for cuddles. Like any mischievous kitten, Willie keeps life entertaining. He has a funny obsession with shoes and can often be found trying to nap in them-or nibbling on your toes if you're walking around barefoot! One thing he has made very clear, however, is that collars are absolutely not his style. Willie is sweet, confident, affectionate, and full of charm. Whether he's climbing, playing, purring, or asking for attention first thing in the morning, he has a way of making every day brighter. You have two options: #1- VISIT IN PERSON Come during our open adoption hours: Tuesday - Saturday,12:30 - 3:00pm. You'll be able to meet available kittens in the shelter. (Kittens in foster care are not available for in-person visits.) #2- ADOPT SIGHT UNSEEN If you're ready to adopt without meeting the kitten first, we can help over the phone or by email. Kittens are adopted on a first come, first served basis, and we're not able to place holds on them. All kitten adoption fees include; -spay/neuter -rabies vaccination (if over 12 weeks of age) -current on distemper vaccines (will need additional boosters with your veterinarian) -FeLV blood test -microchip implanted & registered to the adopter -treatment of fleas/ticks/ear mites -veterinary exam and health certificate at Dakin -free vet exam within 30 days after adoption with participating veterinarians Most pets have also received other medical care while with us.
