Denver
AvailableDenver is a young, tricolor (brown, black, & white) Australian Shepherd and Border Collie mix located in Stuarts Draft, VA. He has a medium coat and a medium build. About Denver
Denver is likely an Australian Shepherd and Border Collie mix, somewhere between six and eight months old. He came from an overcrowded rural shelter and is getting a fresh start in foster care. At night, Denver sleeps in his crate, and he hasn't been destructive in the house. He shares his foster home with seven other dogs—including puppies—and gets along with everyone, adjusting his play style to be gentler with the smaller ones. Denver enjoys being outside and walks well on a leash, though he’s still working on not getting too interested when he spots a squirrel or rabbit. He’s figuring out house training and uses the dog door reliably in his foster home, though he’ll need patience and continued effort in a new environment. He’s met cats on walks without showing interest in chasing them, just a passing sniff. Denver is ready for a family who can keep up with his playful side and help him finish learning the basics.
