About Chet

Chet is a young Anatolian Shepherd mix with a gentle, sweet streak who’s learning how good life can get. Originally from Mississippi, he was picked up with nobody in his corner but has adapted fast. He’s still working on feeling at ease with new faces and sudden movements, but once he realizes he’s safe, he’s quick to settle in for a snuggle. You won’t find him phased by the vacuum cleaner—as long as he’s comfy, not much rattles him. He’s a playful soul who loves toys and goofing around. Crate training is underway; he’s reluctant to go in, but settles calmly inside when he does. Housetraining is going well: he sleeps through the night and is learning to handle his business outside. He mixes easily with other dogs—his foster pack had him playing in no time—and he does fine with cats too. Chet’s looking for a caring home that will give him time, patience, and plenty of affection. Being a Sagittarius, Chet has a naturally adventurous spirit and an optimistic outlook. Click apply to start the adoption process.
