About Barin
Barin made the long journey from Azerbaijan to New York in search of a family to call his own. Likely a mix of Caucasian Sheepdog and Anatolian Shepherd, Barin has the presence of a gentle giant and the easygoing attitude to match. His mellow, calm nature shines through, whether he's around kids or cats—he gets along with both beautifully. Socialized with people and other dogs since he was a puppy, he stands out for his intelligence, warmth, and soulful eyes. Barin has put on a bit of extra weight from shelter life, so his adopter will need to provide good nutrition and dedicated exercise to help him get back in shape. He’s all in for long walks or just lounging at your feet while you work. Because he thrives on company, Barin does best in homes where someone is around most of the day, or with another pet companion if left alone for stretches. Neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, he’s about three years old and ready for a new adventure. Born under the sign of Scorpio, Barin brings that keen loyalty and gentle intensity Scorpios are known for. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
