About Wylie
Wylie is a young Pittie and Dutch Shepherd mix with a brindle coat and a distinct underbite that just adds to his charm. At around a year and a half old, he is fully house trained and knows all the basic commands—he’s as sharp as they come. Wylie lights up when he’s around people; laughter and smiles seem to follow him wherever he goes. He recently figured out how to fetch the ball back and is fast becoming an expert at helping with the garden hose (or at least chasing the spray around the yard). His life until now hasn’t been easy. Wylie waited nine long months in the shelter, leaving with a few scars from other dogs—a reminder that he’ll thrive best as the only animal in the home. Even so, he never lost his affection for people and was a volunteer favorite. Rescued just in time from the euthanasia list, he landed in a foster home that, through no fault of his own, could not keep him. He’s now waiting in boarding in TEMECULA, CA, longing for stability with a forever family who will let him settle in, shower him with love, and give him a place to call his own. Neutered, vaccinated, eager to please, and ready to make you laugh. Wylie will repay loyalty with loyalty, tail wags, and clownish antics. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
