After being destructive when left alone in a previous solo animal household, he has adjusted well in a foster home, even spending up to four hours unsupervised without a crate. While he's house trained, he might mark in unfamiliar spaces and benefited from wearing a belly band in the foster home to prevent accidents. Marcus gets along well with cats, but if his dog friends chase them, he may join in due to his pack mentality. This lovable guy enjoys cuddling on the bed and gets excited when his humans come home, though he isn’t overly demanding of affection. He knows his name and comes when called, and walks well on a leash, though he can also roam off-leash in safe places once trust is established. Marcus prefers a laid-back lifestyle with plenty of lounging and napping, and though he shows interest in toys, he hasn’t quite mastered playtime yet.
