About Casper
Casper is a striking young Great Pyrenees who turned up alone along a quiet Texas road, likely left behind without much explanation. Even after going through a tough stretch, he keeps his gentle, sweet, and trusting demeanor with everyone he meets. He’s one of those dogs that just wants to be near people and other dogs—never pushy, always friendly. Like most Great Pyrenees, Casper is attentive, bright, loyal, and has that hint of protectiveness the breed is known for. He does have a prey drive, so it’s best if he doesn’t share his space with small animals or livestock unless introductions are slow and managed. Those double dew claws, a definite breed hallmark, only add to his charm. His fluffy white coat and calm, soulful eyes make him impossible to ignore. Casper is house trained and has been neutered. He’s currently in Texas, but he can travel for the right match. You’ll do a virtual meet-and-greet before adoption is finalized, so you don’t have to commit blind. What he needs most is someone who won’t let him down again. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
