About Juniorita
Juniorita is a classic Black and Tan Rat Terrier still settling into rescue life in Bandera, TX. Born from a now-retired local breeder, she's part of a litter that found themselves needing new homes after a change in circumstances. Juniorita stays true to her breed’s lively reputation—at her first photo shoot, she was already showing off her playful energy with a round of enthusiastic zoomies. Expected to mature at 15 pounds or less, this is a small dog that brings a lot of spirit to the table. She's intelligent, sensitive, and affectionate, quick to bond and eager to please. Juniorita does best with positive, gentle training—a heavy hand isn’t needed for her. A home with moderate to high activity level suits her best, and she loves kids, especially those 8 and older. She gets along with other dogs and fits right in with family routines, thanks to her adaptable nature. Juniorita is not yet house trained but is just starting out and ready to learn. She’ll be spayed and up to date on vaccinations before heading home. Although she arrived without official papers, she’s a pure Rat Terrier down to her bright personality. Juniorita can be adopted locally in Texas or transported to select states on the east coast or up north. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
