About Cheese
Cheese is a ten-year-old Maine Coon mix with that classic big stature and an even bigger personality to match. Dominant and sure of himself, he runs the show and will thrive best as an only cat. His perfect fit is an adult-only home with folks who don't mind a cat that knows he’s in charge. Cheese isn’t shy about showing off his good looks, often posing for photos—and he was even featured in a cat calendar. He lost his person recently and is still adjusting, with his full character coming out bit by bit. Right now, Cheese is dealing with matted fur that makes petting uncomfortable, but a grooming and likely lion cut are on his schedule. His new people should plan for regular brushing or professional grooming to keep up that signature coat. He enjoys batting around fuzzy mice, chasing string toys, and will eagerly greet visitors. Cheese loves to lounge and won’t turn down a comfy nap on his person if allowed. He can be chatty, especially when food is on the horizon. If you want a big, beautiful cat with personality, he’s waiting in Rockford, MI. Your new best friend is just one click away.
