Thankfully, a foster family stepped forward before the final chapter could be written. Shortly after entering rescue, parvo struck, sending all three puppies into the hospital. It was a frightening battle, and there were moments when the story could have gone a very different direction. But Wilde tackled it the same way he approaches everything else in life—with determination, stubbornness, and a refusal to let anything steal his spotlight.
