About Hubble

🔭✨ BREAKING NEWS FROM THE HUBBLE SPACE TELESCOPE ✨🔭 After years of scanning the cosmos, the famous Hubble Telescope has finally reported its most important discovery: It turns out happiness has four paws. Meet Hubble, a giant smile disguised as a puppy. While his namesake searched for black holes and distant galaxies, this Hubble specializes in uncovering hidden snacks, investigating squeaky toys, and convincing everyone around him that life is one big party. Hubble is a big, goofy ball of sunshine wrapped in fur. He approaches life with the enthusiasm of someone who just discovered every star in the galaxy is actually made of squeaky toys. His tail is almost always wagging, his smile is almost always on display, and he seems genuinely delighted just to exist. 📍 Location: Broken Arrow, OK -Adopters will need to come pick up their new furry family member themselves. Apply here: https://www.pyrpawsandfluffytailsrescue.com/adoption-app Hubble is currently a 6-week-old, 14-pound male Great Pyrenees who arrived alongside his siblings Sputnik, Celeste, and Ursa Major(from another litter), plus his parents, Supernova and Alioth, when their family was moving and couldn't take them along. In other words, we didn't just get a litter—we got an entire galaxy of giant white floofs. And speaking of giant...Mom is underweight at around 70 pounds. Dad is underweight at around 100 pounds. So while Hubble may currently resemble a cuddly cloud that accidentally fell from space, his future plans involve becoming approximately the size of a small polar bear with strong opinions about property management. If you're looking for a purse dog, keep scrolling. Hubble is more of a "carry him into the house for two weeks and then suddenly realize you've enrolled in an involuntary strength-training program" kind of puppy. Now, Hubble is not the puppy who's going to spend every waking moment glued to your lap. Most Pyrs firmly believe they are tiny babies regardless of whether they weigh 15 pounds or 115 pounds. They will happily sit on you, lean on you, and occasionally attempt to merge with your body like some sort of affectionate livestock guardian octopus. Hubble, however, has his own ideas. Sure, he enjoys attention and pets, but he tends to be a little more independent than many Pyr puppies. Instead of spending all day being carried around and coddled, he'd much rather find a comfy spot, supervise the household, and keep an eye on important matters such as suspicious leaves, moving shadows, and whether anyone appears to be doing something without his approval. Hubble is firmly convinced that every dog he meets is already a member of his fan club. He approaches life with the confidence of a celebrity walking the red carpet, fully expecting everyone to be delighted by his presence. So far, he hasn't been wrong. Hubble hasn't officially met any cats yet, but based on his personality, we're fairly certain he'd assume they were put on Earth to admire him. Whether the cat agrees with this arrangement remains to be seen. Hubble seems to operate under the belief that everyone should appreciate his charm, and honestly, it's hard to argue with his logic. Hubble recently made first contact with some small humans. At first, having four excited children surrounding him felt a little like being a newly discovered space celebrity swarmed by reporters. There were a lot of voices, a lot of excitement, and a lot of attention all at once. Naturally, Hubble needed a moment to process this major galactic event. But once he realized these tiny humans were offering back scratches, pets, and opportunities for affection, he quickly decided they were excellent life choices. Now, while Hubble enjoys making new friends, maintaining proper puppy sleep levels is serious business. One minute he's happily soaking up attention, and the next he's powering down like a spacecraft entering sleep mode until his next adventure and expects his nap schedule to be respected. Energy Level: 4/10. If happiness could grow fur and develop four legs, it would probably look a lot like Hubble. This boy is almost always smiling. Seriously. He walks around looking like someone just told him he won the lottery, got an extra snack, and discovered the perfect napping spot all at the same time. Speaking of napping spots...We're fairly certain Hubble is powered by air conditioning. While most puppies seek out cozy blankets and warm laps, Hubble can usually be found draped directly over an AC vent like a fluffy white rug that has achieved enlightenment. If there's a cool breeze available, Hubble has already located it and claimed it as his personal property. Now if you're looking for a puppy that wants to be carried around like a baby 24/7, Hubble would like to respectfully decline that position. Unlike some of his siblings, who are perfectly happy being scooped up for endless cuddle sessions, Hubble prefers a little personal space. He enjoys pets, attention, and being near his people, but he's also the only puppy in the litter who consistently tries to wiggle free when held. He's already showing hints of that classic independent Great Pyrenees personality. While many puppies are thinking, "Please hold me forever," Hubble is over here thinking, "Thank you for the affection. I will now be returning to my observation post." And honestly? That's part of his charm. He's a goofy, happy little marshmallow who enjoys companionship on his own terms, flashes a smile that could power a small galaxy, and seems perfectly content being the laid-back supervisor of whatever is happening around him. As adorable as Hubble is, his future family should remember that he is still a very young puppy. Right now he's mostly focused on smiling, finding the nearest air-conditioning vent, and determining whether naps qualify as a full-time career. The rest of the important life skills? Those are still under construction. Socialization is a big mission for this little space explorer. Hubble should continue meeting new people, seeing new places, hearing different sounds, and experiencing the world in positive ways. The goal is to help him grow into a confident, well-rounded adult who can take life's surprises in stride. Training will be a lifelong adventure because Great Pyrenees come equipped with what we lovingly call "Pyr Logic." They are incredibly intelligent dogs who often understand exactly what you're asking... and then take a few moments to decide whether they agree with your proposal. Building a strong relationship, using positive reinforcement, and keeping training fun will go a long way. The good news is that Hubble is a pretty easygoing little guy. Give him guidance, structure, patience, and lots of opportunities to learn, and he'll grow into the kind of loyal, goofy, independent companion that Great Pyrenees lovers adore. So if you've fallen in love with this happy little space cadet, the next step is simple. Fill out an adoption application: https://www.pyrpawsandfluffytailsrescue.com/adoption-app Once approved, we'll send your application to Hubble's foster family so they can review it and determine if you're worthy of joining his rapidly growing fan club. Please note that Hubble cannot beam himself to your house via intergalactic transport. Despite extensive testing, teleportation technology remains unavailable. You will need to travel to Broken Arrow, Oklahoma to pick him up in person. Applications without pickup plans are a little like trying to launch a rocket without fuel. The dream is there, but nobody is going anywhere.
