Archie is the kind of dog who wins people over with his goofy charm and near-constant craving for affection. He survived a tough start at a hectic shelter, but in his foster home, he’s figured out that life can be good. Archie is a little shy when meeting new folks, but patience pays off—once he feels settled, his personality takes over. Think lovable, slightly awkward, and endlessly sweet, with head tilts that seem designed to make you smile. This Labrador Retriever thrives on human connection. He’s the first one to greet you with wagging enthusiasm and, yes, a lot of sloppy kisses—he truly doesn’t hold back. Archie is happiest when he’s near his people (preferably as close as possible) and does especially well with another confident dog around. He’s house-trained, crate-trained, and already knows basic commands like "Sit," "Down," and "In." Walks with Archie are a breeze thanks to his leash training, and he’s already microchipped, neutered, and current on vaccinations. Archie’s ideal matches have patience for a little shyness at first and will enjoy having a loyal shadow follow them around. He’s ready for a stable home that gives him space to settle in and plenty of time to give back all the love he so clearly has to offer. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
