Archie faced challenges early on, feeling overwhelmed in a shelter, but his spirit has shone brightly since finding refuge in a foster home. He may be a bit shy at first, but once he knows he’s safe, his playful personality comes to life. Why love Archie? For starters, he’s been likened to Sid the Sloth from Ice Age—his silly, lovable mannerisms will have you smiling daily. As a true companion, Archie craves connection with his humans and would thrive in a home where he gets to be your loyal shadow. He also loves other dogs, so having a confident canine buddy would help boost his confidence in new situations. Archie is a well-behaved boy, fully house-trained and crate-trained, and he walks well on a leash. He already knows commands like "Sit," "Down," and "In," making him quite the smart cookie. His ideal home understands that his initial shyness is just him assessing his surroundings, and a patient family will be rewarded with endless affection and hilarious antics once he feels secure.
