Gruna
AvailableGruna is a 2-year-old spayed female mixed-breed dog living in Detroit, MI. She is medium-sized and full of youthful energy, with a gentle and affectionate demeanor. Gruna's loving personality comes through most when she's close to people, and she is ready for a devoted home to help her feel secure and loved.
About Gruna
Gruna is a big, affectionate girl at around 65 lbs, and she’s all about the love. She craves attention, always wanting to be close by for some pets, and don’t be surprised if she tries to climb into your lap. Even though she’s so loving, she can get timid with new situations or loud noises, so a calm home would suit her best. You’ll see her tail wagging almost nonstop, especially when she’s doling out kisses. Treats are a toss-up, sometimes she’s eager, sometimes not, but she always takes them gently. Gruna gets random bursts of playfulness—zoomies are part of the routine. She can pull hard on leash, so a harness is suggested, and you may need some patience for her stops to sniff. With other dogs, she’s calm and non-reactive, and with proper introductions, she may enjoy sharing her home with a canine sibling. Gruna is spayed and out of her puppy phase, but still full of energy and personality. Life at the shelter hasn’t dampened her affectionate spirit, but she’ll truly shine once she’s settled into her new home. Fun fact: Gruna is a playful Gemini! Your new best friend is just one click away.
