 - Off-leash reliable At 8 months old and 30 lbs, Lizzie thrives when she has purpose. She LOVES obedience work, learning new things, and making her humans proud. She’s the type of dog that enjoys using her brain just as much as playing or cuddling on the couch. She doesn’t need perfection — she just needs someone willing to include her in their life and continue giving her structure and guidance. Enrichment, little jobs, nose work, adventures… this girl is happiest when she has something to do with her people. And let’s talk about that nose!
Lizzie has incredible drive and would excel in activities like scent work, detection, search and rescue, or even wounded deer recovery. The potential is absolutely there. She’s sweet, affectionate, loyal to the core, and will gladly become your shadow. But she is not high energy at all but she is not a low maintenance dog. Lizzie needs consistency, communication, and leadership. The good news? The foundation has already been built for you. You just need to continue the training. She is truly an amazing dog and deserves a home that appreciates just how special she is. Lizzie has completed obedience training at The Dog School at Lizzy’s Luxury Lodge. We would love to see her have an adopter interested in pursuing scent training with her. Lizzie is in a foster home in Mississippi. She is eligible for tranport to SW Michigan with an approved application. The next tranport will be early to mid July.
