He’s house-trained, though a belly band may be helpful at first while he learns the routine in a new home. He also does great in his crate and sees it as a safe, comfortable space. Frank enjoys the simple things in life: relaxing in the yard, going on brief walks, playing with toys, and soaking up cuddles from his people. He’s described as friendly, outgoing, adaptable, happy, and quiet. He gets along well with the large dogs in his foster home, though fast movements and high-energy play can sometimes overwhelm him. When that happens, Frank simply chooses to retreat to his crate for a little quiet time. Frank hasn’t been exposed to kids or cats in our care, but he has shown himself to be a gentle, loving companion who enjoys a calm and comfortable environment. If you’re looking for a sweet, low-key buddy who loves companionship and cozy moments, Frank may be the perfect fit for your home. His minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
