**Meet Gremlin – A Playful Little Lap Dog** Gremlin is a 3-year-old Maltese mix who weighs 12 pounds and has a fun, loving personality packed into a tiny body. He’s house trained and currently does great in a puppy playpen setup with his cozy dog bed instead of a crate. This sweet boy loves playing with other dogs and enjoys squeaky toys, according to his foster mom, who says he does wonderfully with her two Chihuahuas. He would likely enjoy having a canine companion in his forever home. Gremlin also enjoys car rides, walks nicely on leash, and absolutely loves curling up in your lap for cuddles. While he barks at the cat in his foster home, they haven’t had close interactions, so we’re unsure how he would truly do with cats. He also hasn’t been exposed to kids in our care. Described as friendly, adaptable, playful, and loyal, Gremlin is the kind of dog who could fit into many different home environments. While not required, a fenced yard would be a dream come true for him so he could safely explore and play. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful companion who loves both toys and snuggles, Gremlin may be the perfect match. His minimum adoption fee is $400 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
