Orbit drifts in like a mysterious little moon with excellent emotional support energy and absolutely zero interest in fighting for screen time. If this litter were a galaxy, Orbit would be that quiet planet scientists accidentally discover and then immediately become obsessed with because somehow he’s just… unbelievably charming without even trying. No dramatic speeches. No “pick me” behavior. No demanding to be the center of attention. He simply exists in your orbit until suddenly you realize he has gently stolen your entire heart while sitting politely nearby waiting for his turn to be loved on. He’s sweet, soft-hearted, calm, and quietly affectionate in a way that sneaks up on you. The introverts are going to understand this puppy on a spiritual level. Orbit is a 6 week old, 12lb male Great Pyrenees who arrived with what can only be described as an entire celestial event. This boy came to us alongside his siblings Sputnik, Hubble, Celeste, and Ursa Major (from another litter), plus mom Supernova and dad Alioth after their family was moving and couldn’t take them along. Yes. We took in a whole galaxy of fluffy white marshmallows and somehow every single one of them is ridiculously adorable. Now before anyone looks at Orbit’s current “portable potato” size and starts thinking he’s going to stay tiny enough to fit in a designer tote bag while you sip overpriced coffee… let’s discuss the math here. Mom is UNDERWEIGHT at around 70lbs. Dad is UNDERWEIGHT at around 100lbs. This boy is not headed toward “small fluffy companion” territory. This is more of a “you accidentally adopted a sentient cloud with legs” situation. Right now you can still scoop him up fairly easily. In approximately two more weeks? Picking him up becomes less “awww cuddle baby” and more “functional strength training.” By six months you’ll be questioning whether your dog or your lower back won the argument. And despite all of this size? Orbit will still firmly believe he is lap-sized. Because Great Pyrenees logic says if even one paw fits on you, then technically the entire dog belongs there too. Basically, if you’ve ever wanted to share your home with a soft-hearted, dramatic, oversized marshmallow who will protect your yard from dangerous butterflies while also trying to sit directly on your internal organs… Orbit may be your guy. ☁️✨ At six weeks old, Orbit genuinely believes the world is mostly made up of friends he simply hasn’t cuddled yet. There is not a single mean bone in this boy’s fluffy little body. Other dogs are all greeted with the same calm, easygoing energy like he’s attending a neighborhood cookout instead of figuring out social dynamics. No drama. No tiny tough guy routine. No “meet me outside” behavior. Just peaceful little “hello fellow creature” vibes. Cats? Oh, the cats would absolutely love him. Orbit would treat them with the kind of gentle respect usually reserved for tiny woodland spirits. He seems like the type who would let a cat smack him in the face one time and then spend the next hour wondering if perhaps he deserved it. And kids? Orbit met four children so far and handled it like a tiny socially anxious celebrity at a fan convention. At first he was a little overwhelmed, which honestly feels reasonable because children tend to arrive with approximately the same energy level as a category five hurricane. But once he realized all the attention involved pets, affection, and admiration? Suddenly this little cloud was leaning into the experience like, “You know what…perhaps the tiny humans are onto something here.” He’s such a sweet, soft-hearted little guy who just needs a second to process new things before settling in. Which, coincidentally, is also how most Great Pyrenees handle life in general. They like to assess situations carefully before deciding whether they are safe, suspicious, or potentially deserving of dramatic barking commentary. 🌙✨ Orbit’s current energy level is probably around a 4 out of 10, which in puppy terms basically means he believes in moderation. He’ll absolutely play, romp around with his siblings, and participate in tiny marshmallow wrestling matches for a bit… but he’s not the kind of puppy ricocheting off furniture like he just drank six espresso shots. And personality-wise? Orbit is the puppy equivalent of that sweet quiet kid in class who everybody likes but who never feels the need to scream for attention. He isn’t a “pick me” puppy. He’s not climbing over siblings demanding to be noticed or auditioning for the role of Household Menace. Instead, he sort of hangs back patiently like a tiny fluffy gentleman waiting for his turn in line. But once you DO pick him up? Oh, that’s when the cosmic cuddler activates. Orbit already has that classic Pyr soul — calm, observant, thoughtful, and deeply committed to the art of cozy lounging with occasional bursts of fluffy nonsense in between. 🌌☁️ Like every baby puppy, Orbit is still very much in his “tiny adorable apprentice” era, which means his future family will need to continue working on all the important puppy basics. Right now he is basically a soft little cloud with paws and opinions — not a magically preprogrammed gentleman who already understands house rules, personal boundaries, or why electrical cords are apparently “not snacks.” His new family will need to help him learn potty training, leash walking, socialization, and basic manners as he grows. And because he is a Great Pyrenees, there is also a strong chance he will occasionally hear commands, consider them thoughtfully, and then decide whether your suggestion aligns with his personal values. Pyrs were bred to think independently not to blindly obey every human request like tiny corporate employees. Socialization is also a huge deal for giant guardian breeds. Orbit needs continued positive experiences with people, animals, sounds, places, and everyday life so he grows into a confident, well-adjusted adult instead of a suspicious fluffy security system who believes the Amazon driver is personally plotting against the family. The good news is Orbit already has such a gentle, easygoing personality. He’s the kind of puppy who wants to be near his people, settle in for cuddles, and quietly become part of the family. With guidance, patience, and continued training, this little cosmic marshmallow is going to grow into one very lovable oversized polar bear. ☁️✨ Now for the official human business portion of this transmission.
