About Little Bit
Little Bit is just 3.5 pounds and 8.5 months old, staying true to her name. She’s a Yorkshire Terrier and Shih Tzu mix with a long apricot, cream, and red merle coat. She does best around other tiny, young dogs—her playmate needs to be under 6 pounds, as anything bigger overwhelms her. Little Bit is not the right fit for homes with young kids. She’s deeply attached to her person and wants someone home most of the day, following you from room to room. Working from home is ideal. She eats three meals a day and likes to nap in her pop-up bed next to you. At night, she goes calmly to her kennel but needs a pet heating pad since she gets cold easily. Potty training is still in progress—she uses potty pads and goes outside, but her size means she needs frequent breaks, so occasional accidents still happen. If you’re home a lot and can offer the routine and gentle companionship Little Bit craves, she could be a wonderful addition to your home. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.

How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
A secure, small yard or frequent short walks are enough for Little Bit’s size. She doesn’t need a large yard, but she does need safe areas to explore and regular bathroom breaks.
