About Bella
Bella is looking for a gentle retirement home after her previous owner passed away. This sweet senior Yorkshire Terrier lives in Austin, TX, though she is not in the care of Small Chance Rescue—her current guardian just wants to be sure she finds the right family. Bella is in surprisingly good health for her age, with a vet noting clear lungs and a strong heart. She does have some age-related vision loss and a mild cough from her older trachea, but neither gets in the way of her daily life. Bella is pee pad trained but, because her eyesight isn’t perfect, she prefers going outdoors when possible. She has a truly easygoing attitude, gets along with kids and other dogs, and prefers lounging over chaos. Another quirk: she’s missing her teeth (her tongue often pokes out), so consider that when picking out food. Her coat is typically longer but was trimmed for a recent photo session. She tends to bark only when the neighbor’s dog gets her attention, otherwise she’s a quiet companion. If you’d like to offer Bella her next chapter, reach out to her caretaker, Marla, at 512-771-1798. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
