I’m Sunny. Quiet Doesn’t Mean I Don’t Need You. I'm currently in California, but my bags are packed, I’m ready to travel to my new home. Where are you? Are you my new family? I’ll travel to you! I’m about 1 year old. A white Siberian Husky mix with soft eyes, a gentle personality, and a heart that stayed kind even after being overlooked for far too long. I came into the shelter as a stray with Vince (Angel Dog Alliance is not sure if he is my dad or my brother, but he's family all the same!). We had nobody looking for us. No one came to claim us. We just kept waiting and hoping someone would finally notice. The shelter gave me the name Sunny. I think it fits me pretty well. I’m not the loudest dog in the room. I’m not the one creating chaos or demanding attention every second. I’m quieter than that. Softer. The kind of dog who watches first, settles in slowly, and stays close once I trust you. There are no bad notes about me. No aggression. No trouble. I’ve shared kennel space with other dogs and handled shelter life the best I could, even though it was overwhelming and confusing. What I really need now is a home where I don’t have to survive anymore. A calm place. Gentle people. Patience while I decompress and learn what safety feels like. Huskies are known for being expressive, intelligent, and deeply connected to their people once they bond. I have that in me too. Underneath the stress and uncertainty is a young dog who still has so much life ahead of her. I’m still playful. Still curious. Still capable of becoming someone’s loyal companion. I just need the chance.
