About Jack

Jack is a friendly Siberian Husky who has been with us for several months after arriving from Chicago animal control. When he came in, he was severely underweight, struggling with gastrointestinal issues that his previous owners could not manage. After receiving thorough veterinary care, we found that he had Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency (EPI), which is a manageable condition. A simple, daily enzyme powder added to his food fulfills his dietary needs, and the treatment is both effective and cost-efficient at about $20 a month. He has transformed beautifully since coming into the rescue, gaining almost all the weight back he needs to reach a healthy 65 lbs. Jack is a tall, social boy who thrives on affection and enjoys hugs. He interacts well with other dogs and walks calmly on a leash. While he hasn't been tested with cats or small dogs, he could adapt to being the only dog as well. Now that he’s healthy and happy, Jack is ready to find his forever home. Make sure to apply soon; he's eager to meet his new family!
