Meet Spots, one fifth of the adorable Alyssa litter! This 5-month-old Lab/Hound mix is ready to steal some hearts and find her fur-ever home. While this unique breed mix brings the friendly, goofy and fun-loving energy of a lab, it also comes with the affectionate, loyal and independent hound personality. If you’re looking for a lovable family member with big ears and a bigger heart, this baby girl is ready to meet you! Spots gets along well with the adults, children, littermates and other dogs in foster care. She is playful but a bit shy when meeting new people. We haven’t had the chance to see how she interacts with cats. Her favorite activities include playing outdoors with her littermates and snuggling on the couch. She has even made great progress with house training! This pretty princess knows what she wants and she will let you know—she can be vocal in play, in the crate, and especially when she wants something. Bringing a young puppy home is definitely not all kisses and rainbows! Like anything worthwhile, it takes a lot of work and patience. This 5-month-old is still learning the ropes and needs to learn household manners and basic commands. Investing time into positive obedience training and socialization now will help puppies grow into an amazing adult dogs. It’s very rewarding and fun, too!
