About Ginger

Ginger is an athletic, outgoing young dog who lost her family due to their relocation, not any fault of her own. She's playful, affectionate, and quick to pick up new commands. "Sit," "place" (meaning lay down), and "stay" are already familiar to her, making daily interactions smoother. Fetch is her favorite game, and she can't resist a squeaky toy or a long walk. In her previous life, Ginger frequented the dog park and mixed well with other dogs. She's also shared a home with a child and would do best with kids ages eight and olderβ€”she's a bigger girl, after all, and weighs about 72 pounds. Cat relationships are still a mystery. Ginger is not house trained yet, given shelter life. All in-person adoptions require adopters to visit in Sparta, NJ, within about two hours of the area, and shipping is not available.
