About Jett
This could be the start of something paw-some. Jett lost his home when his previous family moved into an apartment that couldn’t accommodate pets, through no fault of his own. It’s easy to feel upset for him, but Jett truly is the innocent one here. After all this change, he’s slowly adapting with the support of a board and train program. Jett originally made his journey from a Texas shelter with his brother Scout and was brought north for a brighter future. With his striking Aussie/Lab Cattle Dog mix looks, he melts hearts with a little round bum and a short, stubby tail. Jett adores people and forms deep bonds when he feels secure, though he now takes a little longer to trust due to recent transitions. He may be reserved at first, but with time and patience, his playful side appears more each day. Chew toys like his Nylabone or a rousing game of fetch set his tail wagging. He delights in running around the yard, expressing the herding instincts that make cattle dogs such energetic companions. Jett gets along well with other dogs and would thrive with a playmate to help build his confidence. He is crate-trained, using that space as his sanctuary, and is already house-broken. Jett is still working on his leash manners and gaining more confidence. He is neutered and up to date on vaccinations. Jett’s temperament is a wonderful mix of mellow and playful; he would do best in a calm, stable household with someone present much of the time, as he can become anxious when left alone. With consistent companionship and reassurance, he’s sure to blossom and leave his worries behind. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
