About Poppy

Poppy is a playful, treat-motivated girl with a knack for making everyone smile. Her dark brindle coat and webbed feet make her stand out, especially when she splashes in puddles—her favorite pastime. Poppy gets called both a couch potato and an athlete, capable of cuddling for hours or dashing around when the mood strikes. She thrives on affection and isn’t shy about leaning in for a snuggle or sneakily nabbing a treat. She’s fully kennel and potty trained, happy to go to her crate when asked and reliable indoors. Poppy is spayed, fully vaccinated, and currently enjoys a diet tailored for her sensitive digestion, including a daily supplement to help her thrive. She has spent too long waiting at the rescue for someone to take her home. Poppy gets along well with other dogs and loves children—she’s happiest in a home where cuddles and kindness are in good supply. At about four years old and 60 pounds, she's in Houston, TX, but transport can be arranged. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
