About Tweety
Tweety is a young, affectionate Pit Bull Terrier mix with a short brown coat and ears that are just as endearing as her personality. Rescued after being left behind, she’s shown a remarkable ability to adjust and thrive. Tweety blends right in with her foster family’s dogs and enjoys time with the teens in the house. She’s crate trained, learns quickly from the other dogs—though she’s a bit more respectful of kitchen counters than some of her canine friends—and rides well in the car. Tweety prefers the company of people and other pups to being left alone in her crate; lounging on the sofa or chasing a ball is much more her speed. She’s working on perfecting her leash manners and thrives when she’s included as part of daily family life. Tweety doesn’t get along with cats or other dogs outside her foster group, but she’s outstanding around children and will fit best in a cat-free, single-dog household. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a big heart (and big ears), Tweety deserves a chance. By the way, Tweety was born under the sign of Capricorn—solid, sturdy, and quietly determined.
