About Demarcus
Demarcus is a big, goofy Doberman with a lot of personality and even more love to give. At just 1 year old and about 60 lbs, he’s the classic young Doberman mix of high energy, eager intelligence, and irresistible clinginess. He wants to be part of everything and doesn’t do well sitting on the sidelines or being on his own for long. Demarcus absolutely thrives with other playful, tolerant large dogs and needs a companion who can roughhouse but also help him understand when to take it down a notch. He’s dog, cat, and kid friendly, but he’s a bit too big and unaware of his own size to be around small children. He’s still very much in his puppy phase—chewing, getting amped indoors, and following his people everywhere. Kennel whining happens because his top priority is staying close. Demarcus is a classic Velcro Doberman: always underfoot, always looking for connection. His ideal home includes a fenced yard, another large, playful dog, an adopter with an active lifestyle, and someone with Doberman experience. Homeownership is a must. He needs patience, structure, and continued training, but the return is a social, affectionate, silly, and incredibly loyal dog who wants to do everything with his family. If you want a live-wire companion for walks, adventures, and plenty of cuddles when the action is over, Demarcus is waiting for you. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
