About Marawinnie
Marawinnie has seen both sides of adoption. She first arrived in early 2023, found a home, and spent over three years loved as Winnie before coming back when her family had to move and couldn’t keep pets. At around 5 years old, she’s likely a border collie and Australian shepherd mix, with a long, thick coat that will need regular brushing. Winnie is gentle, polite, and a bit confused about landing back at the shelter after so long in a real home. She gets along well with other dogs and has done well with older kids. Her past shows she’ll need some reminders and training to help her live peaceably with cats—her previous family noted she sometimes chased them outside but never did harm. Winnie has basic training and knows her manners, but she’ll thrive with someone patient and willing to refresh her routine. Her vaccinations will be updated prior to adoption. She’s used to life as both Mara and Winnie and answers to both, but feels most at home with the name Winnie. Click apply to start the adoption process.
