Rex is truly one of the sweetest, easiest dogs you'll ever meet. He's the kind of pup who just wants to love and be loved. And once you earn his trust, he'll give you his whole heart. He gets along great with other dogs and would do best in a home with another playful, confident pup to help him continue building confidence and show him the ropes. While he doesn't currently live with cats, we think he'd likely do well with a slow and proper introduction. Rex can be pretty shy when meeting new people and new environments, so he's looking for a patient home that will let him move at his own pace and understand that trust takes time for him. But underneath that timid exterior is such a playful, goofy, cuddly boy who's still very much a puppy at heart. He loves bouncing around the backyard with his squeaky toys, but he's equally happy to snuggle up with you on the couch. He's also incredibly well-mannered - potty trained, great on a leash, sleeps quietly in his crate through the night, and does well free roaming when left home alone during the day. Rex is such a special boy. He may need a little extra patience at first, but the love and loyalty you'll get in return are absolutely worth it.
