About Leah
Leah’s story hasn’t been easy. She spent her early years in rough conditions, caged up and bred over and over. It took a lot for her just to get by. Now, at two, Leah is ready for something completely different. She’s a gentle, dainty Siberian Husky mix, craving affection and eager to follow her people from room to room. Leah’s sweet spot is making her person happy—she hugs, she seeks attention, and she wants to learn what love is supposed to feel like. Feeding time, however, brings out another side. She’s highly food motivated—enough that she’ll need to be safely separated at meals. With other dogs, she gets along just fine, but managing her food habits is a must for success. She’s young, spayed, vaccinated, and fully house trained, waiting in Sumter, SC, for the first real chapter of her life. Give her the second chance she deserves.
