About Ivy
Ivy is a playful, affectionate young Labrador Retriever mix with a big heart and a sweet personality. At about a year and a half old and expected to reach around 45 lbs, she's the perfect medium size for most homes. Found as a stray, Ivy quickly adjusted and now has an easygoing, loving nature. She thrives around other dogs, enjoys the company of cats, and is friendly with kids, making her a solid fit for family life or a multi-pet household. Kennel-trained and housebroken, Ivy transitions smoothly between play and relaxing cuddle time. She absolutely loves toys—especially her favorite alligator—and a good game of fetch is one of her favorite ways to burn off energy. Ivy is currently heartworm positive, but she is already receiving treatment and can be adopted during the process. She’s quiet in her crate, doesn’t mind downtime, and would be happiest in a home where her adopter will continue to give her the attention and affection she craves. Born January 9, Ivy is a Capricorn—which means she’ll bring steady, loyal energy to your home. Ready to give a sweet dog the home she’s been waiting for? Ready to fall in love?
