About Reef

Reef is a 50-pound Lab mix with a strong commitment to making friends wherever he goes. People are his absolute favorite, and the more hands for belly rubs, the better—kids included. He’s shown that he gets along well with other dogs too. Reef arrived as a stray sporting a mysterious benign mass on his neck, but that’s now gone and he feels like a brand new dog. He has a unique skill: Reef can clear a 4-foot fence without breaking a sweat. His adopters will need a high, secure fence, close supervision, or a strict leash routine to keep his explorations under control. Energy-wise, Reef is beautifully balanced—he has adventure in him but knows how to shut it off for couch time. Surveying from the top of his patio crate is a daily ritual, but nothing tops the pursuit of belly rubs. Reef looks forward to snack collecting, looking sharp, and giving out his abundant affection to every person he meets. Aries pups like Reef are known for their playful, bold personalities—he fits the bill. Click apply to start the adoption process.
