About Honey

Honey is a 1.5-year-old Mountain Cur/Rhodesian Ridgeback mix with a shiny red-golden coat and striking white markings. Despite a rough start as a stray in Tennessee, she's shown nothing but sweetness to everyone she meets. Honey loves belly rubs, being brushed, and curling up close to her people, and she's always up for a good car ride. Her playful side comes out in goofy moments, but she also prances around with a regal confidence that's all her own. Honey is house trained and crate trained, and she already knows some basic commands. In her foster home, she gets along well with small dogs and is even friendly with farm animals like goats and pigs. Honey bonds easily with adults and children—though, because she's so energetic, homes with kids over 8 are best to avoid anyone getting accidentally bumped during play. With her golden fur and sweet spirit, she's ready to become a loyal family companion. All her vaccines are up to date and she's spayed, so she's ready to settle in as soon as her family finds her. Every pet deserves to start fresh somewhere safe—maybe that's with you. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
