About Godiva

Godiva is a 10-month-old, 7lb Pomeranian with a long, soft coat and a gentle spirit. She landed in foster care after her previous owner, who bought her on impulse, realized they didn’t have time to care for her. Godiva has adjusted well to her foster home, living alongside both dogs and cats without trouble. She gets along with everyone but needs a home that truly understands the quirks and needs of a Pomeranian—ideally with another pom or someone with real experience with the breed. Godiva benefits from a calm, adult-only environment (or one with older, gentle kids). She’s not suited to chaotic homes or owners away for long periods, as she does have some separation anxiety. Her ideal adopters work from home or have the flexibility to include her in daily outings; she enjoys being near her people as much as possible. Godiva is vaccinated, microchipped, and will be spayed soon. She’s eager for a household that’s committed to meeting her social and emotional needs. Only adopters in the Greater LA area will be considered, with a required meet-and-greet and home check. Give this little sweetheart the second chance she deserves. Ready to fall in love? Questions about Godiva

  • What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?

Godiva, as a Pomeranian, thrives in a calm, stable home where she can be close to her people. She’s happiest in an environment that isn’t chaotic and where someone is home most of the time.

  • How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?

A Pomeranian like Godiva doesn't require much outdoor space. Short walks and some playtime in a small yard or nearby park are usually enough.

  • Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?

Godiva would do best with older, gentle children. Pomeranians are small and can be fragile, so they’re generally not a match for rowdy younger kids.
