About Noelle
Noelle is a 7-year-old Pomeranian/Chihuahua mix with a big personality packaged into a small frame. At about 12 lbs, she carries herself like royalty and revels in being pampered—especially if brushing or treats are involved. Living with another dog suits her fine; she even joins in on mailman alerts, though she's not the type to bark without reason. As for cats, she hasn't lived with them but her even keel suggests she'd likely adjust. Noelle is comfortable being left alone for short periods, but would genuinely thrive with someone home most of the time—a retiree with plenty of free hours or, as her foster jokes, someone 'rich' enough to skip work. Playtime means toys and tug of war, and her food motivation is strong. She eats from a slow feeder or gets hand-fed to help her understand food is always coming and there's no need to guard. Housebroken and reliably going outside on her own, she also sleeps peacefully in her crate. Noelle is loving, wants to be with her people, and laps up attention—she's especially fond of being held. Her cheerful, sometimes stubborn Pomeranian side shines in little "sit up pretty" performances, but she will plant her feet about leash walks. Progress there is slow, so don't expect strolls right away. She does not do well with children and cannot be placed in a home with them. A small patch on her back won’t grow hair, likely from an old chemical burn, but it’s completely healed and never bothers her. Noelle is smart, resilient, and finding her sense of security again. Questions about Noelle
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Noelle’s Pomeranian/Chihuahua mix background means she’s happy in an indoor setting, especially where she can spend most of her time with her person. Quiet, adult-only homes suit her best.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Noelle, being small and preferring indoor comforts, doesn’t require a big yard. A safe outdoor spot for short bathroom breaks or play is enough for her needs.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Noelle does not do well with children and should only be placed in an adult-only home. Pomeranian/Chihuahua mixes often feel overwhelmed by younger kids.
