About Spirea D

Spirea D came to New Leash on Life with her littermates and mother after their previous owner could no longer care for them. She’s a blend of Rat Terrier and mixed-breed, part of a larger group of dogs who’ve experienced a lot of change in a short time. Spirea D and her siblings were named for flowers as a sign of growth and new beginnings. She may need some time to decompress and settle into a new home, but once Spirea D feels safe, she enjoys the attention and affection of people. She’s spayed, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and receives regular flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. The rescue requires adopters to commit to keeping their dogs indoors, particularly at night, and never to use tie-outs or chains. Instead, walks on a leash or a fenced yard are a must. Spirea D is looking for a family ready to welcome her inside and help her continue to bloom. Every animal brings their own kind of beauty. Click apply to start the adoption process.
