Meet Sunny, a Jack Russell mix with a spark for life. Weighing around 15–40 lbs, she’s a classic Jack Russell: energetic, prey-driven, and happiest with a job to do or a fetch game that never ends. She bonds closely with her person, snuggling under the covers when playtime winds down. Sunny is house trained, crate trained, and famously bounces her toy balls only to catch them mid-air. In foster care, she’s shown a resilience that matches her enthusiasm for walks and companionship. She’s friendly with other dogs, cats, and children, but at times she does best as the only animal in the house—definitely queen of her domain. Her story started with a roadside rescue, but she’s settled into home life beautifully and thrives on routine and attention. Sunny has received multiple rounds of vaccinations, deworming, and prevention meds, and she’s heartworm negative.
