Meet Smokey, a handsome, almost two-year-old neutered male who is ready to find his forever home! While he is a bit shy at first, once Smokey knows he is in a safe place, he transforms into a total cuddle bug who will shower you with sweet feline kisses. He is a wonderful companion and a bit of a chatterbox, happily following you around the house to let you know exactly when he wants breakfast, playtime, or just some affection. When he isn't being your loyal shadow or enjoying a good hold, you can find him lounging in his cat tree, bird-watching by the window, or happily sprinting through his cat tunnel after a wand toy. Up to date on all his vaccinations, Smokey would thrive best in a home with children ages 8 and older who can appreciate his gentle nature. While he hasn’t been around other cats in his foster home, he did wonderfully with his littermates as a kitten, suggesting he might do well with a slow introduction. Smokey has not been tested with dogs. Given his initial shy nature, we believe he may be okay with a lazy dog again with a slow introduction.
