Holly Jane is a young, spayed female Airedale Terrier/Terrier mix currently living in Lovingston, VA. She’s a medium-sized puppy and is up to date on vaccinations. Holly Jane’s early months were without proper socialization, so she is working on her confidence, especially around children and larger dogs.

About Holly Jane

Holly Jane is a 7-month-old Airedale mix who’s had a rough start. She came in as an owner surrender after showing she’s not comfortable around children and will snap if approached. Holly Jane lacks early socialization, which left her insecure in new situations — she even bounced back after an adoption because city life stressed her out. She’s been making progress at Camp Merricks, learning to socialize in stable dog groups. These days, she enjoys playing with dogs her own size, although larger, pushier dogs can still make her anxious. Holly Jane needs an adopter who’s willing to invest in her continued training and help her build confidence. Trainers at Camp Merricks will support her new family to keep her on the right path. Once she settles in and trusts, she’s a soft, affectionate, snuggly pup. Regular grooming is a must to keep her coat in good condition. Holly Jane is waiting to meet the right person at Camp Merricks. Click apply to start the adoption process.
