But they’re definitely not just “cute little apartment dogs” for everyone. This is definitely Melody. They are intelligent, energetic dogs that thrive when given regular exercise and mental stimulation. They are known for being affectionate, playful, and protective, often making excellent family companions and alert watchdogs. Because of their strong herding instincts, they may try to herd children or other pets by nipping at heels, so early training and supervision are important. Their thick double coat sheds year-round and requires routine brushing to keep it healthy. With proper care, training, and activity, Corgis are loyal, fun-loving companions with big personalities in a small body. Melody definitely thinks she is a big dog and will act more dominant with other dogs that are also dominant. We Don’t recommend kids under 10 yrs for her.
