Hancho was originally adopted by his foster mom in 2022 after she completely fell in love with him and decided she couldn't let him go. Sadly, due to declining health, she is no longer able to care for him, and now this wonderful boy is once again searching for a forever family to love. Hancho has a nice medium energy level. He enjoys running around, playing, and having fun, especially with other dogs of any size, so a playful canine companion would be a dream come true for him. Once he's gotten his zoomies out, though, he's all about relaxing beside you for ear scratches, belly rubs, and cuddle time. He has been around children over 5 years old and does very well with them. He can be a little vocal when meeting strangers at first, but it's all bark. He does best being crated when left home alone since he occasionally forgets which items are actually dog toys. He rides nicely in the car, usually sitting quietly and taking in the scenery, and while he walks well on leash, he can pull a bit at times due to his size and enthusiasm.
